Muse de la mine et du marbre

Search Brussels

The Museum of Marble and the Mine is maintained by the geological department of the ULB. (Marble as in the veined stone, not the round toy typically made from glass today.) A complete collection of the marbles found throughout Belgium is on display, augmented by a vast array of other marbles from around the world. Additionally, there are exhibits documenting mining techniques, and unusual ore samples unearthed at various mines.
