Search Bornem-Hingene

The Notelaer is a pavilion on the Scheldt River. It was built by the Duke of Ursel as a base for hunting and summer leisure. A renovation campaign was undertaken in the 1980s; the interior decor was preserved intact, and the structural integrity of the building was reinforced. In addition to a permanent installation about the history of the Scheldt, the Notelaer often hosts traveling exhibits.
