Once, horse drawn freight wagons and stage coach drivers watered their teams in the nearby stream. Now, visitors can stand solemnly on its banks and view scenes of the life of Christ. Developed in the 1970's. Most of the stone statuary scenes and wooden hand carvings were created and done by John Summer. Tons of sand and cement were packed in by a donkey to create this beautiful and inspiring garden. The Gardens are open from 9:00 a.m. until sunset, year round, weather permitting.
