Big Sur Campground is located twenty-six miles south of
Carmel on the ocean side of
Highway 1. Reservations are accepted. The park is open year round on the Big Sur River between the redwoods. RV sites (up to 8 tons), hot showers, and telephone are provided. Fishing from November through February is available.
Playground, volleyball, basketball, beach, and trail access are all within a 10-minute drive. The camp has 81 sites.
