Boonville is located in Mendocino County north of
San Francisco between Mendocino and Healdsburg along Highway 128 near the
Russian River and the Pacific Ocean. It is known for a local folk language called "Boontling." "Codgy kimmies" (old men) will tell you that " moshe" means machine, "zeese" means coffee and "belhoon" is another word for dollar.
There is also a Boonville, New York.
