Luxury catamaran (largest on the West Coast) departs daily from Balboa Pavilion at 9:00 a.m. for romantic Catalina Island. The Catalina Flyer returns from the island at 4:30 p.m. daily and arrives back at Newport at 5:45 p.m. The Catalina Flyer makes the trip in only an hour and a quarter. Whether taxing to or from Catalina enjoy comfortable sun decks, full-service cocktail bar, stately viewing windows, and ride control.
