Housed in a former house and medical building, the Coachella Valley Museum & Cultural Center displays Native American artifacts. Also on display in the museum are old farm and household equipment from early western American history. The museum features changing art exhibits. Also on the grounds of the museum is a sawmill available for touring. Dioramas featured in the museum explain the dates of industry and growth in the area and a large relief map explains the development of the desert's water system.

The museum is closed the months of July and August. Please call for museum admission times and prices.
