Founded in
Rosamond, California in 1977, EFBC's Feline Conservation Center is a non-profit organization run entirely on public donations. Admission fees and renewable yearly memberships are the main form of support.
More than 60 rare and exotic cats are kept in outdoor enclosures at this breeding, research, and educational facility. Fourteen species, including leopards, tigers, cougars, and ocelots, are represented. Tour guides provide detailed information about the cats. The facility is open to the public Tuesday through Thursday.
