College of the Sequoias

The College of the Sequoias (COS) is a typical, two-year California community college situated on the eastern edge of the San Joaquin Valley midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. The college, like most of the early community colleges in the state, developed out of the local public school.

Academic Departments include: Agriculture/Natural Resources and the Public Safety Training Center. Their programs lead to Associates degrees.

The College is located in Visalia (Tulare County), CA, and has an enrollment of about 8400.

Athletic scholarships are given in football, basketball, baseball and track/cross country.
