Visalia is located in Californias San Joaquin Valley, a large and agriculturally rich basin that runs through the center of the state. Founded in 1852, Visalia was incorporated in 1874 Visalia.Boating and Fishing are available at nearby Kaweah Lake located20 miles east of Visalia.
