Karly Winery, located in Amador County's Shenandoah Valley, was started by Lawrence L. Cobb and wife Karly in 1980. It produces Zinfandel, Mediterranean varietals, Sauvignon Blanc, and dessert wines. It also enjoys a solid reputation for Sauvignon Blanc and an emerging array of Mediterranean wine varieties. Different vineyard sites in different microclimates from the winery site produce a spectrum of grape flavors adding more dimension and complexity to the combined wines.
