Mt. Madonna Park offers visitors to the park a choice 118 drive-in and walk-in campsites spread throughout four campgrounds. Each site comes equipped with a barbecue pit, food locker and picnic table. Hikers and equestrians have access to a 20-mile trail system. Shaded picnic areas are also available. All camping is by reservation only. The park has an amphitheater, available by reservation for weddings and other special functions. The amphitheater also features live music and slide shows Memorial Day through Labor Day. These free shows are provided by park docents every Saturday at 8:00 p.m.

The Rio Vista Bass Derby Festival Rio Vista CA October11-13 Rio Vista is proud to host the oldest fishing derby on the West Coast. The festival is a three-day derby for bass, catfish and sturgeon. The festival also boasts music, food and fun for fishermen and non-fishing children and adults as well. The events include a carnival, live music and dancing, classic car show, a pancake breakfast, parade and BBQ. A large fireworks display is also featured on Saturday night.
