Cool redwood groves, wide-open lawns for recreation, the picturesque Pacific, and two of California's most sought-after campgrounds make up the Nojoqui Falls County Park. The principal feature of this park, located six and a half miles SW of
Solvang on Alisal Road, is Nojoqui Falls. Given a sufficiently rainy season, the falls cascade over a 164-foot mossy cliff.
The Santa Barbara County Park Department maintains more than 900 acres of parks and open spaces, 84 miles of trails and coastal access easements, and the grounds surrounding county buildings. The park offers picnic tables, a baseball field, volleyball courts, playgrounds, and a trail to the falls.
