Norco

In 1846, the area that is now Norco was part of a Mexican Grant from Mexico to Vicenta Sepulveda and was called the Little La Sierra Rancho. The area passed through several owners including the San Jacinto Land Company. James W. Long purchased the Norco area land around 1908. In 1921, the North Corona Land Company purchased the property. The name of Norco came from the North Corona portion of the company name. It was incorporated as a city in December of 1964.

The weather in Norco is mild with no real extremes in weather. A few hot spells in the summer may go over 100, winter temperatures rarely drop below 40 degrees F. Norco's average temperature is 63 degrees F.

Norco is a small suburb north of Corona. Riverside is east. Norco is part of the Riverside-San Bernardino, California metro area.
