The
Oakland Museum of California is dedicated to the art and history of California. The museum first opened in 1969. It features multiple galleries, as well as terraces, patios, sculpture gardens and ponds.
The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and on Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m.
Admission is $6.00 for adults, and $4.00 for students and senior citizens. Children under 5 are admitted for free. Also, the second Sunday of every month is free admission day. Everyone is admitted for free.
