Petrified Forest
Step back in time 3 million years

Located five miles west of Calistoga on Petrified Forest Road, the facility preserves the texture and fiber of giant redwoods. A museum and picnic facilities are also to be found on the grounds.

Admission is charged and are as follows: Adults $5.00, Seniors (over 60) $4.00, Juniors (12 to 17) $4.00, and Children (4 to 11) $2.00. Open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Winter hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open daily except Christmas.
