Phillipsville is located in Humboldt County, south of Eureka between Miranda and Garberville along US Highway 101 near the Eel River. Area Code: 707. Population is about 105.Aside from Eel River fishing and swimming, Phillipsville is just north of the "Avenue of the Giants". A famous stand of old growth redwood trees and California's largest stand of old growtrh redwood trees. Located along the scenic Avenue of the Giants, Humboldt Redwoods State Park encompasses 52,000 acres, including over 17,000 acres of ancient old-growth coast redwood forest. Several motels and inns offer lodging in and around Phillipsville.
