One of the cities in the Diablo Valley. Pleasant Hill is on the old Mission Trail created by the Catholic Missionaries. the Mission Trail was the first road in the area and extended from Mission San Jose, through Sunol, Dublin, Danville, Alamo and Walnut Creek to Martinez.
