At the Space Theater in
Balboa Park, Omnimax films allow you to vicariously speed into space on a shuttle or swim in the ocean depths. Two afternoon screenings are subtitled for the hearing impaired.
The science center houses more than 50 hands-on exhibits, as well as nationally touring exhibitions. Admission to the science center is free on first Tuesday of the month.
