More Chinese people live in the area bounded by Broadway, Bush, Kearny and Stockton streets in San Francisco than anywhere else outside of China. The main thoroughfare is Grant Avenue, lined with tearooms, shops, temples, theaters and grocery stores. The Bank of Canton is marked by a distinctive exterior.
