Nestled in the foothills of Mount Tamalpais and fronted by the Pacific Ocean, this little hamlet has an inviting three-mile-long beach, surrounded by public park lands for your hiking and wandering pleasure. The Anchorage was built in 1910 as a hiking hostel and is now a town landmark. The Inn sits one block above the main street and overlooks the hills, village and ocean.
