The park is nestled in the foothills of the
Sierra Nevada, the park is surrounded by beautiful countryside, including such recreational areas as Bass Lake (12 miles SE) and
Yosemite National Park (15 miles N). The park also provides access to its own 18-hole golf course and resort.
