San Luis Obispo County Museum

The history of San Luis Obispo County is presented through exhibits at the San Luis Obispo County Museum, located in the historic former Carnegie Library. Periods from the Chumash and Salinan Indians to the present are covered in the exhibits of the San Luis Obispo County Museum.

Admission to the museum is free, but donations are always accepted. The museum is closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and holidays.
