This small community is located on Interstate 76, nine miles east of
Fort Morgan, and 80 miles from
Denver. Brush has its own 5,000 ft. runway and is only 60 minutes away from the
Denver International Airport. The city is named in honor of Jared L Brush, a Colorado cattle pioneer who sold beef to the army in the 1860s.
The new Brush Area Museum and Cultural Center contains artifacts, photographs, and exhibits. For an adventure, visit the Elk Echo Ranch and Country Bed & Breakfast, a working elk and buffalo ranch.
