Located 14 miles from Eagle, CO. One of western Colorado's best kept secrets, Sylvan Lake State Park is a haven for those who enjoy the outdoors. Surrounded by the White River National Forest nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Sylvan Lake offers a spectacular setting for visitors. There's a lovely campground right next to a small, high-mountain lake for small-boat and off-shore fishing. It's a great spot for picnicking, hiking and outdoor photography at the foot of beautiful, wooded mountains. The park is popular for fishing, camping and picnicking. Cabins are extremely popular. Drinking water, showers and flush toilets are available.
