The Telluride Historical Museum (formerly San Miguel County Historical Society) was formed in 1965 to provide enriching exhibitions and programs that educate, stimulate and entertain regional residents and visitors. The museum collects, conserves, exhibits and interprets materials, objects, photographs and papers that contribute to the fulfillment of this mission. The Museum serves the public regardless of race, creed, gender or age.
