Established in 1864 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church, this is a private institution offering degrees in arts and sciences, fine arts, music, business, engineering and education. There are 7 undergraduate schools and 6 graduate schools. The 123 acre campus is in a suburban area 8 miles southeast of a Denver business district. Including residence halls, there are 90 buildings, some of which are historic. Active fraternities and sororities as well as over 120 clubs and organizations are on campus. Tours are available through the admissions office.
