Located at 7000 ft. elevation along the beautiful Crystal River, Filoha Meadows is surrounded by spectacular vistas of rocky crags, spruce and aspen covered mountains, and open meadows. Serving as both a Christian retreat center for groups as well as vacation rentals for individuals, Filoha offers easy access to hiking, biking, kayaking, jeeping, photography, painting, and cross-country skiing, as well as excellent flyfishing (catch and release only). The small mountain town of Redstone is only 3 miles away, offering whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and dining. Filoha is also centrally located to several skiing areas. Ski Sunlight in Glenwood Springs offers family-friendly skiing at affordable rates, while world-famous Aspen ski areas challenge more advanced skiers. Both are about 45 minutes away.
"Filoha" means "hot water". Natural hot springs heat the buildings and flow into soaking tubs available to guests.
