Westcliffe is located northwest of
Walsenburg on Hwy 69 in
Custer County.
The area offers incredible mountain views, with five 14,000-foot peaks visible, known as the Crestone Needle Peaks. Nearby San Isabel National Forest offers camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and more. A field schoolhouse from 1891, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, houses the Westcliffe Schoolhouse Museum.
