Danbury Museum and Historical Society in Danbury consists of the restored 1785 John and Mary Rider House, which contains period furnishings, textile and historical exhibits; the 1790 Dodd Hat Shop with its exhibit about the hatting industry; the One Room Schoolhouse; gardens; and the Danbury Fair Mural. Huntington Hall houses the historical society's archives, a research library, and gallery of changing exhibits.
