The Kellogg Environmental Center and the Osborne Homestead Museum are adjacent to the Osbornedale State Park in Derby, offering 400 acres of forests, meadows and wetlands. Part of the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, the Kellogg Environmental Center offers workshops, hands-on programs, exhibits, nature activities, and lectures for the general public. The Kellogg Environmental Center offers a variety of CEU-accredited educator workshops on a wide variety of environmental topics. In addition, the Center facilitates workshops on award-winning, national environmental curricula.
