Military Museum of Southern New England |
Military Museum of Southern New England in Danbury has outside displays of tanks, armored vehicles and artillery pieces from World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars. Inside, life-size dioramas feature medals, photographs, uniforms, heavy fighting vehicles and artillery pieces.
The museum boasts more than 70 vehicles and 10,000 military artifacts in its collection. This is the nation's largest private museum collection of heavy fighting vehicles and artillery pieces from the World War II, Korea and Vietnam eras.
