Mystic Aquarium & Institute For Exploration

Off I-95, this aquarium contains more than 3,500 living sea creatures in 40 exhibits that include Seal Island, and outdoor area containing seals and sea lions, and Penguin Pavilion, an outdoor exhibit of African black-footed penguins. The 1,400 seat Marine Theater presents whale demonstrations daily.

Open daily 9am-7pm, July 1 through Labor Day. Open 9am-5pm the rest of the year. Closed January 1, Thanksgiving and December 25.
