Olde Burnside Brewing Company in East Hartford is the pure natural aquifer that for years supplied the water for many of the local hard-to-please home brewers is used exclusively by the Olde Burnside Brewing Company to bring out the full flavor of the barley malts, hops and yeasts contained in its fine brew. Olde Burnside's first brew, "Ten Penny Ale", a light Scottish style ale that is second to none, was introduced in October of 2000 and is getting great reviews. Ten Penny Ale is available in half gallon "growlers" at many package stores throughout central Connecticut.
