Oneco is located in
Windham County just west of the Rhode Island state line between Voluntown and South Killingly along Highway 14A on the banks of the Moosup River near Pachaug State Forest. Old Furnace State Park is to the north.
The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 34,931, an increase of 2,460 since 1990.
