Mattatuck Museum

The Mattatuck Museum, located on the Green in downtown Waterbury, is a treasure house of collections focusing on over three centuries of heritage of the region and the master artists of Connecticut. The museum has an arts center, an art studio classroom, and a research library. Store, cafe, and tenants are also provided. The cafe is open Tuesday through Friday for lunch, or later in the afternoon for coffee, tea, and dessert. The museum focuses its efforts on the cultural history of the central Naugatuck Valley and southern Litchfield County.
