Seven Angels Theatre

Founded in 1990, Seven Angels Theatre is one of the youngest arts organizations in Waterbury. It has an annual attendance of 50,000, producing and presenting 200 performances a year. The theatre provides local access to professional productions and brings national recognition to the area. Alongside the professional productions produced, the community programs have also played an important role in the community's cultural development through the establishment of innovative and relevant programs of high quality.

Since 1999, Seven Angels Theatre has hosted the annual Connecticut Comedy Festival's signature event, the Laugh-Off. This is one of the 3 or 4 North American Comedy Festivals currently offering unrecognized up-and-coming talented comedians a major career opportunity.
