The historic Sheffield Island Lighthouse is just a short ferry ride away. It is one of thirteen Norwalk island attractions, plus the Stewart B. McKinney Wildlife Refuge that are available in the Norwalk area. The Lighthouse was discontinued in 1902.

The Sheffield Island Cruises depart from Hope Dock, near the IMAX Theatre entrance in South Norwalk. Reservations are encouraged. Next to the dock is the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk.
