Talcott Mountain State Park

At the top of Talcott Mountain is the Heublein Tower, built in 1914 as his own residence by Gilbert Heublein; it is now a museum of local history. From the tower there is a spectacular view of four states. This property came under public ownership in 1965.

Popular activities include hiking and bird watching. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area.
