Founded in 1903, Western Connecticut State University (WestConn) is a public institution in
Danbury offering programs in business, arts and sciences and professional studies.
The 398-acre campus is in a suburban setting 65 miles north of New York City. It is part of the Connecticut State University system, enrolling more than 33,000 students. There are 3 undergraduate schools and 1 graduate school.
WestConn has two campuses. The main campus is called Midtown. The other campus, seven miles from the main campus, is called Westside.
