Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum

This Museum is comprised of three 18th century houses restored on their original sites and furnished to depict the Colonial home. George Washington and Comte de Rochambeau met in the Joseph Webb House in 1781 to plan the battle that led to the American victory at Yorktown. Murals commissioned in 1916 for the Webb House depict the Battle of Yorktown from its conception to its conclusion.Guided tours are given on the hour, Wednesday - Monday, 10am-4pm in May through October. Open Saturday and Sunday, 10am-4pm the rest of the year.
