Carey's Camp Meeting Ground

Established in 1888 by Methodists who had been holding summer

services on the site for several years. The open frame tabernacle

is surrounded by 47 open-front cottages, called 'tents.' The site

is on the National Register and still serves as a mecca for

familes who return each summer for week-long services.
