Formerly the Meeting House Galleries, this complex occupies a 1790 Presbyterian Church and its adjacent 1880 Sunday School building located on Meeting House Square. The Square was part of the original plan of
Dover laid out by William Penn in 1863. The galleries contain exhibits illustrating Delaware's archaeology, history and culture. The objects and artifacts on display provide clues to discovering and recreating the past. A Delaware State Museum Site.
