King Charles of England

There have been two kings of England named Charles, both of the House of Stuart. Charles I was king from 1625 to 1649, when he was executed. Charles II was restored to the throne in 1660 and ruled until 1685.

If the Charles Windsor, the present Prince of Wales, becomes king, he will presumably become Charles III.
