Trent

The River Trent rises in northwest Staffordshire and flows through the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, and Lincolnshire, joining the Ouse and entering the North Sea through the Humber after a course of about 170 miles.

Its chief tributaries are the Dove, Derwent, Idle and Soar. The Trent is tidal for about 40 miles.
