The Science Museum at Wroughton Airfield is part of the National Museum of Science & Industry. Commercial aircraft, vintage cars and motorbikes, space rockets, wurlitzers, traction engines and valve computers are some of the Science Museum's reserve collection stored at Wroughton, near Swindon in Wiltshire. Located on a World War II airfield are several hangars containing a collection of fascinating objects representing key developments in science and technology. A number of outdoor events take place at the airfield, during which time the collection may be accessible to the public; other museum visits must be arranged by appointment, and weekend visits are available to groups of 30 or more.
