Blountstown is located in
Calhoun County, (of which is the county seat) west of
Tallahassee on Hwy 20 between
Bristol and
Fountain.
For thousands of years, Native Americans considered the lands of the Apalachicola area unique. And it still is! This region is filled with clear springs, creeks, rivers, and vast forest which provides an abundance of wild game, fish, mollusk, tupelo honey, maize and many native fruits and vegetables to be enjoyed.
