The Children's Science Center is dedicated to awakening enthusiasm for mathematics, science and technology in the minds of the young and the young at heart. Visitors can participate in hands-on exhibits, which include a resident ball python snake. Computers are used throughout the Center to provide information relation to exhibits; volunteers are available for help and demonstrations. Outdoor exhibits include an open butterfly garden, nature trail, whisper dishes, mazes, telescope viewing and more. Picnicking is allowed on the grounds, and arrangements can be made for group tours and special events during and after hours. Group discounts available. Open daily.
