Everglades Wonder Gardens |
Opened in 1936 as a refuge for injured animals, the center has since grown and now is home to exotic birds, panthers, alligators, flamingos, bears and otters. The grounds include botanical gardens and trees from around the world. A natural history museum is also on the premises. Guided tours are available. Open daily 9am-5pm.
