Caribbean Gardens

The preserve and botanical gardens features a petting zoo and self-guiding trail that winds through a tropical setting populated by birds and animals. Visitors to Safari Canyon can watch an animal show complemented by wildlife footage and graphics displayed on television monitors. A 20-minute boat cruise lets visitors view primates roaming freely in an island habitat. Alligator feedings and other activities are scheduled. Picnicking is permitted. Open daily, 9:30am-5:30pm; last admission 1 hr before closing. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
